surely look sick. almost no chance of recovery i would say.
my normal strategy is to change the soil – add say, molasses and lime.
then plant a different crop – say broad beans.
it could be other things – mite, waterlogged soil, too acidic, lack of nitrogen – but i think the soggy look does indicate a disease.

Looked under the leaves? Could be thrip or whitefly..
could be mosaic.. does anyone smoke tobacco?

A bit late for snake beans unless it is the tropics, which is where you are.. I’m sure.

Haven’t seen too many whitefly around although they are very common in the tropics… and yes we have plenty of thrips but they are all on the Cucumbers and the Chinese Broccoli, but so are quite a few ladybirds so I’m happy for the status quo to maintain.

Might have to write this lot off and try another trick.
