I figure that as the Ides of March was set onto the Julian Calendar, we should use that.

Currently the Julian Calendar is 13 days behind the (now pretty much standard) Gregorian Calendar. So today is the Julian 2nd of March.

For starters, Biden is about to stuff up the anti-nuclear agreement with North Korea.
Nuclear World War within 5 years.

These agreements with North Korea and Iran never seem to go anywhere, yes one minute, no the next
Whilst not supporting rogue states you can hardly blame them for not wanting to give up or pursue nuclear weapons when the nations wanting them to have hundreds or thousands of weapons, likely build more.

Iran does have Israel, Pakistan and India close by.

I wonder what North Korea hopes to achieve with nuclear weapons, they are outgunned, could take out a few cities but would likely get blown out of existence if they did.
Could instigate WW3 I suppose if China sides with them

China.

Then redefine the term so it includes Russia, Japan and South Korea.

Japan could be a great power, but they spend relatively less on defence compared to similar countries. Their current defence set up is in a bit of a constitutional grey area. For example their aircraft carriers are classified as “helicopter carrying destroyers”, even though they are being rebuilt to carry F-35 Bravos.

My learning for today. I didn’t realise that Russia shares a border with N Korea, or that Vladivostok is so far South.

But is China really unfriendly to NK, and if so, is Russia?

And is S Korea really a super-power?

Russia, China, Japan, and S. Korea supported by the USA.

As for which agreement, the one hammered out on June 12, 2018.
The one stopping N. Korea from testing nuclear warheads and from launching ballistic missiles.

Russia and especially China have friendly relations with NK.

The Michael Palin NK series is very interesting.

I have two bones to pick with that series. Palin is very wong on two points, had absorbed too much anti N Korea propaganda before going there.

From TATE:
2020
The Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General John Hyten, said on January 17 that North Korea is building new missiles, capabilities and weapons “As fast as anybody on the planet.” He further stated that North Korea is learning from its mistakes while making advances in its missile programs. However, Under Secretary of Defense for Policy John Rood later told the House Armed Forces Committee on January 28 that North Korea did not go through with conducting a major missile launch which had been scheduled to take place sometime between late December and early January..

I travelled through Russia in ’82 & there was a feeling of apprehension present at all times. NK seemed to be the same in the Palin series.

Actually i may be overstating that. The second summit in Hanoi didn’t go well though.

TATE seems to support your contention. They have launched plenty of missiles since mid 2018.

I don’t imagine that whatever they are doing regarding nuclear bombs is public knowledge.

Plenty of other cryptic warnings of the future.

A non-fiction book I read a couple of months ago was written a year before Covid and looked into … Anyway, in the book the virus escaped after the vaccine for a final world death toll of about 260 million.

I’ll track it down later.
