possibly totally unrelated, not sure what that article above is about, but speaking in a more general sense regard forces of attraction, things that push an pull (including dislike and aversion) of and between humans, and other creatures too, it may be a bit of stretch to dress them all up as aggression where there is whatever differences in the express forces, and frankly I could possibly get more reality from a real auntie on the subject

But at the least, putting her into a taxi and sending her home would have been helpful.

This stuff is making me wonder about a person I know who works/ed as a researcher for a member of Federal Parliament. They were often away in Canberra for work. Perhaps this sort of millieu explains why they seem to be perpetually tense and wary.
