Nothing more, nothing less… now bare with me while I indulge, but I have taken a series of macro shots of tree trunks and their skin and have enjoyed making little square images so much, I thought a collection of square tree trunky shots would be in order. So if you care nought for trunks, then please go google something somewhere else.

First up in the series, a close encounter with a Peltophorum pterocarpum.

no probs i like tree trunks. and congrats on a whole page of LHC.
trichosurus vulpecula = common brushtail possum. we have lots of them here as well.

trunks are under valued and they are at eye level too – so i guess its over familiarity that makes us blind to them.
