I’m impressed I managed to keep it a secret for so long. I’m normally terrible at keeping secrets.
All the deets:
I wore a red dress. Mr Mutant wore a business suit. Mini Me wore a sparkly pink dress with tulle skirting. My mother behaved herself. Also in attendance: my sister and dad, Mr Mutant’s mother, 2 brothers, sister and her husband and son (her daughter was at a dance thing). My sister knew a while ago but everyone was told between 2-6 weeks ago. (We only started planning 6 weeks ago.)
The ceremony was held at the park near Shorncliffe Jetty. We wanted a short and sweet ceremony so it was just the legals and signing the papers. Afterwards we had a really lovely lunch; I would 100% recommend Pilpel if you ever find yourself in Redcliffe. Staff were lovely and the food was *chef’s kiss

13 years is four years longer than my first marriage. But lest you be discouraged, my current marriage has lasted 28 years so far.
Hope you and Mr Mutant stayed 1.5 metres apart throughout the ceremony.
