She’s going to discuss it with the doctor first.

In the meantime, it’s just a matter of waiting for news about Ruth. We’re all hoping it turns out there’s something they can do, but I’m dreading the ringing of the phone.

She doesn’t have any cancer at the moment. She had cancer of the uterus which was removed surgically, then later reappeared nearby as a tiny speck that was removed by radiotherapy.

The medication she’s now on is to help keep it from reappearing.
