Subject: Perth Pud
As you may all be aware I have a real birthday which occurs on the 1st of August every year. I shall be coming up to Perth on Friday the 30th of July. I will be getting my car serviced. I thought that as I will be in the “Big Smoke” for that it would be a good idea to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak, and have a small get-to-gether at a drinking establishment. Either in South Perth or Victoria Park. The usual places.
Please, if you are intending to get a small gift for me I would rather you gave a charity rather than to me. If on the other hand it was going to be a big gift then I’ll be happy to accept.

Hmmmn. You are so going to do your own service… May be the best way of getting people to attend would be to invite all our mates to watch you do this whilst having a BBQ. ;-)

and it was the best move you’ve ever made. I can’t thank you enough for that. It is something a true friend would do, and you’re not that. So that shows it is even more special.

Last time I was in WA I recall driving 350km for a hamburger, which wasn’t that good, at a tourist attraction that was no better than what I’ve got at the end of my street. In that context, the distance I would travel to avoid the company of Boris is stratospheric.

Best burgers for a long time were to be had at Keysbrook. Alas the bikies took it over and it’s a tattoo place now.

It was a meander from the route when we did the big lap of Australia for our honeymoon. The Westralians made such a fuss about it we figured it would be worth the diversion. Turns out they were wrong about that.

Girlfriend took me to visit her brother but he was out with his family at a Christmas party so we bouught a pizza at Pizza hut. We didn’t have a pizza place here at the time. Then we drove home. On the way a wire fell off and the car stopped until I put it back on in the dark and on the way back we ended up driving the last 160km at 40mph(it was an EH Holden) because the fuel gauge said empty. Arrived back at her place at dawn.
