Australia to build 20kg rover to head to Moon in joint mission with Nasa
Expertise in mining sector expected to aid development of rover which will collect lunar soil to help establish human presence on moon
And they didn’t ask my advice ;-(
I have several Rover designs, both sort of standard with antenna and wheels and solar panels, and specially designed to be self-righting and unfold from a cylinder (or cube).
I also submitted a few of elements suitable for components of Moon Rover design to ESA. The ability to move big rocks heavier than the Rover out of the way. The ability to climb long steep slopes. And fast active full colour 3-D vision at minimal cost.
