Looks like a plum. If the skin is smooth, probably plum. Although nectarines are actually a non fuzzy peach. But they don’t look quite like that.

We have a nectarine/plum cross breed tree and sometimes bees cross pollinate things and they turn out a bit weird (differently fruited)
Look like greengages (plums).

Well, I have Plumcots which look like a plum but do have a slight furriness and I have peach cots which definitely have a furriness.
Tell me what size are they?

these are plumcot.
I went to his house today.
They about 3-4cm across, not furry at all, but they do have like a kind of almost waxy coating on them that is easily rubbed off to reveal a very shiny fruit.

The bloom that you can rub off sounds like a plum.

We were all correct. As we all said plum. Apart from one who said apricot and one who said peach.
