Solar powered ventilators would be a good idea too.
Double layered ceramic tiles with inbuilt convection airflows would help as well.

Just cover the roof with solar panels, they will block the sunlight from hitting the roof and give you free power as well.

Leave a gap at the top and bottom for natural convention to push the hot air upwards.
Why not a solar ceramic tile?
Or a completely new roof material that does both jobs?
I did work for CSIRO on roof temperaures and roof ventillation.
Let me kinow if you want me to dig out a paper on the topic.
But the main focus of my work was avoiding under-roof condensation during the night, because that causes corrosion and other problems.
I also did a bit of work on hail damage to solar panels, enough to convince me not to install solar panels.
