I mentioned this in he Mandelbrot thread, but it seems worth a thread of its own.

Geogebra download

The download page has several different apps, but Geogebra Classic includes all of them and downloads and installs very quickly, so I’m not sure why you’d bother with the separate apps (maybe makes things simpler for educational purposes).

I’m now going to go and have a play with it.

Have you used it for teaching?

Not really, we’re more applied SCIENCE than pure mathematics, though we do entertain our students with the game occasionally.

That said we have been fairly impressed with the software, just can’t base a recommendation for use in a full lesson, on our limited use.
