I have 2.
1 When cones are pushed in – use a vacuum cleaner to pull it back out again.
2 Speaker plugs / rca plugs that are loose – can be coated with hot solder to increase its width to fit tightly.

Can’t help wondering if wearing headphones for extended periods eventually leads to a somewhat shrunken (compressed) skull.
Since they work like a clamp, applying continual pressure to both sides of the head in order to stay on.

Not quite the same thing, although belts of course can cause various abdominal problems.
Pressure from headphones can cause headaches, jaw pain etc (I can’t wear mine for long without that toothache flaring up again).

…mind you my headphones are big, heavy studio Sennheisers. I ought to get some lightweight ones for other use.

I’d rather not have ones that you have to actually stick in your ears.

I find that annoying
eventually causes cranial deformation, gives you a bullet head, as you can see from this selfie I just took
There are some In ear headphones that sound amazing….These have 4 little speakers in them, volume up and down and a mic. and can be found for around $135 upwards.

These over ear headphones have 12 drivers in them and has a bluetooth app.

Wheras the PROs have a silicon tip for a noise cancelation,
I prefer the original models which were designed
to sit comfortably just within the cup
of the outter ear

I could do with an audio trick. I’ve never managed to get headphones to work properly with my computer. All the sound has to come out to speaker via amplifier.
