Did black holes form immediately after the Big Bang?

How did supermassive black holes form? What is dark matter? In an alternative model for how the universe came to be, as compared to the ‘textbook’ history of the universe, a team of astronomers propose that both of these cosmic mysteries could be explained by so-called “primordial black holes.”

when they say “immediately” do they mean that literally? I thought it was just plasma before 370 000 pce.

“IN The BEGINNING …”
…all the energy and matter in the Universe eventually coalesced into one Unnormous Black Hole
under whose gravity underwent THE TOTAL COLLAPSE resulting in a resultant outpouring of
all the raw materials (including the energetic spin) to set these “mini black holes” into motion
everything (re-re-re-rereleased matter = dark matter) that immediately began to coalesce
into everything (including the inquisitive scientists) which we see (or don’t see) TODAY

…presumably resulting in enough gravity to re-form black holes, which will become super-dupper Black Holes…

…rinse and repeat as necessary…

In a nutshell. Theory says ‘yes’, observation says ‘no’. Immediately means after 10^-3 seconds.

Here are some articles on primordial black holes from the 1970s.
