I know the old Time Team TV show about archaeology had a bit of a following here.

Well, they are back, and doing an all new series. It is being hosted on YouTube.

Episode 1, Part 1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8_sbq37AUs

Each part goes for about 30 minutes, so 3 part episode about 90 minutes. Follow the link to the first episode and subscribe to the channel for the rest.

It has many of the old team, John, Helen, Matt, Carenza, Stewart, Naomi. Tony is not the host this time around, the hosting is split between teo new people, one is doing most of the narration, the other is on site looking at things. Better graphics and new geophysics equipment.

It may or may not appeal to die hard fans. It is less of Tony being annoying and more of the science content. I find the new narrator quite inoffensive except that he talks a bit too slow.

No Phil Harding?

I suppose he’s getting a bit old for it (72) but apparently he’s still digging.
