Longy, last year you put up a tip for preserving avos, which directed for the seed to be included…could you please put it up again as the avos are a good price and quality at the moment, and I have got into the habit of using them as a spread on the sandwiches…??

not sure if is was preserving them so much, as keeping the stone in the container in the fridge with the mashed avocado. No one has yet been able to come up with a satisfactory way to preserve them for long term keeping.

Hi D. Just mash the avo and add some lemon juice.
Place the stone in the container , seal and freeze.
You can get a bit more flash and make guacamole and store the same way.

Thanks Longy, that’s the information I was after…how much lemon per avocado, do you recall?

A squeeze of lemon works too.
