I’d prefer a bit more of the wet weather to go along with the cold weather.. :)
(not that it’s particularly cold here.. still maximums in the low 30s)
should be 25 everyday

Nah, it’s just a medium strength sort of ongoing rain, not particularly fierce but nicely persistent :)

Just the sort of rain a gardener wants.
This morning we had our second frost in a row. Rescued the last of the beans, zucchinis and tomatoes yesterday afternoon and harvested the pumpkins. Pulled out a lot of the dead foliage. Too late to get a stack of winter veg in, unless I wanted to buy seedlings – experience tells me that you need a month’s growth before the first frost for them to be sturdy enough to not only last into/through winter, but to grow!!
Stripped the beds and strapped on the lecky blankies yesterday, so we’re having toasted children again tonight!
Will have to go out to the bush block this weekend and wave the chainsaw around a bit, bring home a bit of heating.
Would’ve been great weather for sweetening up brussels sprouts, if I’d had some in, eh Lucky?!?!?

Collie was the equally coldes WA max temp today.. It peaked at 15.
We had a heap of rain, the water came in through the ceiling over the computers which caused some excitement… No damage done but the office is still in disarray..
About 2” of rain in a a couple of hours.. Still wintery outside with wind and rain.
There is a mild cyclone breaking up between Perth and Geraldton..
