The success of the SOHO space telescope studying the Sun has now led to an Indian clone called Aditya-L1 to be launched by ISRO.

Planned launch date Sept/Oct 2022.

You’ll see from the following that the optics is quite different to SOHO. SOHO’s main camera is a purely refracting telescope with coronagraph. SUIT is a reflecting telescope.
