of course looking back on it the closing down of the forums was just the beginning of cancel culture. Too much free speech, critical thought and debate.

I didn’t get the chance to reply to Curves last posts, but now after reading the chat thread at the time, I can raise a glass in his honour. It’s way too late, but by now it probably doesn’t matter.

It’s a weird community. I’ve been part of this gang for 23 years, never even met most of you, but I’ve seen you go through generational changes, build families, bounce back from strife, amd in some cases make peace and pass away.

It was a traumatic time on the forum as there was just wasn’t much we could do for him except try to offer words of comfort.
I called the hospital and they assured me they were doing what they could, but he was delirious.
