This may as well be it!

So be it.
We seem to have ground to a halt in here.
Unintentional pun. Sorry.
Wet May so far. The newly planted Per-fyoom remains in situ, despite the dogs’ attempts to dig up the remnants of the cat (skull, mandible, some fur) beneath. Got rocks around the pizza boxes around it.
Watering sparingly because of the torrential downpours that we have had.
The Iceberg Girl had some flowers, lovely sweet traditional perfume.
It was so cold on the weekend that I stayed in bed for three days. At least 6 hours worth of whipper snippering to do so there’s plenty of gardening to keep me warm.
One of the neighbours has a Morning Noon and Night (brunsfelsia) that I was able to smell the other night. Hope she’ll be OK if I ask for some seeds. She’s 30 years younger than I am but we do some gym together so I’m optimistic. She told me a couple of years ago that a caravanner (the caravan park is at the end of her street) waltzed up with a shopping bag and asked for FREE lemons. Apparently the woman could see the lemon tree which is at the back of neighbour’s block, from the caravan park. How embarrassing to think this caravanner woman is a baby boomer like myself.
I’m off to find out the name of a good mango tree for here. Mine, which grew from seed, is not a fruitful tree. The leaves are elongated with a pointy tip. The neighbour’s mango (a Bowen Special) has flowers already. This does not auger well.
