“Nature is evil, I will be missing”
and
“Nature is provider, not storage”

Yes. Google translate seems to be swapping “shepherd” and “evil-doer”.

So instead of “the Lord is my shepherd” it gives “the Lord is an evil-doer”

I’ve never yet met a thesaurus that didn’t miss at least 50% of direct synonyms, those that I can just pull off the top of my head.
I’m using multiple thesauri here, at least three at a time.

I think I’ve got a handle on the evil shepherd thing.

In Hebrew, shepherd is
רועה
Evil is
רוע
So three of the letters match, the first three.

OK, books translated into atheist so far. As much as I intend doing of: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song od Solomon, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel.

So far, the only overtly religious parts of the Bible I’ve found are:
Deuteronomy 5, (writing on stone tablet)
Psalm 46
Ezekiel 1, (visual description of the occupants of the heavens)

If the Bible is religious, then why is so much of it God saying that nobody believes in him?

I’ve given up on the New Testimony.

I managed to translate a fair amount of the Old Testimony into atheist. Enough to see what the heck is really in there. The resulting emergent (as opposed to imposed) religiousness of the Old Testimony was the morphing of three non-religious concepts into religious ones.
1. Laws – human-made laws follow the laws of nature, eg. hygiene, stronger military forces defeat weaker ones.
2. Nature – eg. weather, soil fertility
3. Karma – non-religious “bad things happen to bad people” morphs into religious “if bad things happen then I must have done a bad thing”

By the New Testimony, laws and nature have merged into single diety “Theos”
The religiousness of karma is extended to allow it to survive after death under control of “Pater”

The “good spiels” of the New Testimony are a moral story, and the moral is “Don’t be like Jesus, or you’ll suffer a premature and painful death”

A few corrections to the New Testimony:

• Change “baptise” to “wash”, and you’re supposed to do it to yourself not let someone else do it.
• Change “holy spirit” to “enthusiasm”. Mary became pregnant outside marriage because of her enthusiasm.
• Change “miracles” to “magic tricks”. Feeding of the multitude, water into wine etc. are elementary magic tricks.
• Change “pray” in the NT to “ask your thoughts”. It’s different in the OT where it means “beg”.
• Change “Pharisees and Sadducees” to “scholars and skeptics”.
• Change “synagogue” to “school”, “synagogues” to “classrooms”, and “preach” to “teach”.
• Change “beloved” to “adopted”. Thunder from the clouds is taken as a sign that Jesus is the “adopted” son of “Theos”.
• Change “magi” to “Zoroastrians”. These were paid itinerant fortune tellers, not “kings”.

The Lord’s prayer proved to be very difficult to translate. The first two lines can be translated in four different ways, Isaiah 1 supplies two of these. None are ideal:

• “Patron of us who in the heavens, Awesome the name of you. Come the kingdom of you”, or
• “Nature is Awesome. You rule”, or
• “Abraham in the abode of the dead, you are Awesome. Judea will ascend over all other nations”, or
• “Karma is Awesome. A karmic reckoning is coming”.

It doesn’t help that the word usually translated “heaven/heavens” in the New Testimony is actually the Greek word “sky”. As in “birds fly through heaven/heavens”.

The word “Christ” is untranslatable, on very slim evidence most modern scholars translate it as “Messiah”, which simply means “benefactor”.

Atheists will realise that Jesus heartfelt cry “my Theos, why have you forsaken me?” is because Theos doesn’t exist.
