With Mr Y’s ducks laying so much, I’m having an omelette every other night while Younger Son is with his father.

The kid does his part when he’s here, he has double-egg pancake mix for brekky and the occasional bacon, fried eggs n beans dinner.

I don’t have any gardening-type activities to post about but occasionally the food I slap together looks mildly decorative :P

Couldn’t post a pic of tonight’s offering. Tasted okay but looked dodgy!

Was one of those nights when all the leftovers claimed to be too lazy to jump into the compost bucket, and besides I wasn’t in the mood for the stupidmarket.

Food processor got leftover steamed potato, beetroot and cauliflower, freshly chopped onion and a couple of eggs, spices and salt. Add defrosted mince (the only meat left in the freezer) and made a kinda meatloafy thing. Baked in oven. Cut and served with the last measly scraps of salad in the fridge – mostly lettuce.

I have one banana, one apple, leftover meatloaf, bit of lettuce, 3 carrots and half a sugarloar cabbage. Wonder if I can spin it out with a coupla tins of stuff till Sunday, lol?!
