Instead of spending money on stadiums, unviable weapons of war and other wasteful stuff
Let’s make all vaccination FREE in Australia?

Stopping the spread of disease is cheaper than dealing with its consequences
Bring back the TB vaccine for widespread use
beware those universal quantifiers
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure
You’d save billions by spending money on free vaccines

I can certainly say I’ve never paid a cent for a vaccine.

Vaccines on the National immunisation program are free, if dv has had any travel vaccinations, they were stolen or work paid.
Not all vaccines are free
I had 12 in one hit a few years ago for work – I didn’t pay the company did but still
There are types of meningitis vaccines that aren’t free
You’ll find that not all vaccines aren’t free
As part of biology classes they should run old films about the perils of certain diseases, whooping cough etc. People should be free to refuse vaccines BUT they need to be told the risks. The old films will often show footage of someone sick with the disease ( before privacy/ trigger warnings / cancel culture).being informed is the best defence.
I’d like to see the TB vaccine back in circulation and offered to school kids
If there’s some calamity in society a well vaccinated society can survive for a few years with herd immunity.
Vaccinations build in redundancy if there’s a disaster if some kind.
Maybe I should start writing to the MPs again ?

I dare say they miss their routine Wookie report.
so have we all worn our universal quantifiers

We could combine stadiums, unviable weapons of war, and free vaccinations into a single package, like this.

Imagine looking down at your kid in hospital as they were trying to fight off a wholly preventable disease
Its human psychology
Even 100 years ago you’d expect 1 of your kids to not make it to adulthood
Just imagine being killed by a scratch
Hendrich was killed by one tiny splinter of wood that caused infection, the myth of invincibility against whole list of diseases has developed in a first world with even commonplace diseases in the third world virtually unknown.
James 1 son got sick after going for a swim, instead of being the next king of England he was 6feet under.
Life is fragile
He attempted to keep up an active lifestyle that included playing tennis for hours and swimming in the Thames, but at just 18-years-old, fell ill with a fever at the end of October in 1612. His condition quickly worsened, and he died on 6 November.6 Nov 2018
He said the last big outbreak of whooping cough in Australia was between 2008 and 2012, with more than 140,000 cases.
Keep playing the odds

$40 for a whooping cough jab if you want to see the new grandkid in hospital.

And what’s the deal with a silent w, since when was that a thing?

wh-
respelling of Old English hw- attested from 11c., but not the common form until after c. 1400. It represents PIE *kw-; in German reduced to simple w-, in Scandinavian as hv-, kv-, or v-.
It also was added unetymologically to some borrowed words (whisk, whiskey) and some native words formerly spelled with simple w- or h- (whole, whore). In the 15c. flowering of its use it also threatened to change the spelling of hot, home and many more. In northern English 16c.18c., sometimes altered to quh (see Q). Proper pronunciation has been much in dispute in educated speech.

It is actually not easy, pronouncing the both W and H together. It is maybe easier with white while or whale that other words such as whole.

My fantasy for America is for them to cut their military budget by 50 percent and make all education and healthcare free.

Are you sure about that? I think there was almost certainly a form to be signed.
Maybe Australia should make all foreign aid vaccine related – you’d turn up on the coast of America and vaccinate for free

Go back decades and there were no permission slips, you lined up and were vaccinated. No one wanted to know about your Vax facts
I was in primary school in the 1960s. There were parental permission forms.
Old people of the 70s had seen the devastation of disease sweeping through the population – they didn’t need to be persuaded about vaccines

I know it’s disgustingMy fantasy for America is for them to cut their military budget by 50 percent and make all education and healthcare free.
They need to fix their system/ They spend more fed monies than we do and they pay outrageous amounts of private money to top up the system and it is still all unaffordable.
I’d make all travellers take vaccines before coming here
Including flu vaccines

Maybe the only way is to shame the yank gov to change their ways ?You turn up in a ship

Well…they think the only way to go is to lobby foreign govts to convert to their system.
Which reminds me
I need to get the flu Vax ( I normally fall asleep for a few hours after getting it)
I need to get around to getting my second hep B shot , keep forgetting
Imagine Australia vaccination free.
