Actually a bit of the mission’s own debris, possibly from the parachute or backshell.

I wonder. Survivable in a drysuit with aqualung given a sufficiently large oxygen and water supply?
A bit chilly at night.
ie could you survive there until you starved to death after about two months?

No, not survivable in a dry suit and aqualung.

Mars atmospheric pressure is 0.095 psi… it’s close enough to a vacuum to be considered a vacuum in regards to human survivability. You need a space suit or you will be dead within a few minutes.
