Finally got the cheap & nasty big digital calliper together. I still really have to fiddle with my 3D printer to get it making crisp & accurate prints but it’s fairly close , close enough to see if this’ll work and I reckon it does.
This calliper can measure up to 615 mm and is about 10% the cost of a ‘real’ one. Pretty happy with that.
Five parts to print and a little fettling to make it all fit together nicely.
