It’s RUOK Day – but ‘how can I help?’ might be a better question to ask?

Not been OK since I realised that the IPCC has been misusing science for political ends since day one. That realisation was only a couple of years ago.
Here I am with a brain the size of a comet, full of all sorts of useful information, but the most lasting legacy I will leave after my death will be a badly built front fence and a badly built brick pillar holding up part of the side of the garage.
Even my PhD turned out to give world-beating results only because of a deliberate mathematical mistake.
Mentally and physically, I’m a wreck.

Justin said that.

I think the correct response here is H & Ks. Or would you prefer Ts & Ps, Mr Fumble? or a combination thereof? Ya see, it’s best to ask these things in response to RUOK.

He did yeah.

Yeah I’m good, well apart from the damn ankle bracelet.
I’m OK on this RUOK Day, but tomorrow’s another day.
In fact tomorrow is National Teddy Bear Day in the USA.

Yes but National Teddy Bear Day is a non-picnic version.

Leunig. Love this one. And Leunig is so appropriate for RUOK day.
Got a copy of his first book not long ago.
That was me long ago. Now I’m more like this.
It’s been a few years since I stopped visiting the shrink. He diagnosed me with PTSD and my bruxism being related to that, but, although I could see that I was adamant there was more wrong with me. And we talked about Bi Polar and I do run some of those symptoms.
But a couple of days ago I saw a list of symptoms for childhood PTSD. And yeah. The shrink was right.
He was a good shrink. I thought we were going to grow old together. But he went and retired. I miss him.
I’m not alright. But I have been a lot worse.

Good MH help is hard to find. And, it’s expensive.
i, too, have been left by MH providers with unanswered (indeed, unasked) questions. I worked with some, and there’s one or two i wonder if i shouldn’t have asked for assistance, but it all seemed too ‘close’ at the time.
As i alluded to earlier, and i wasn’t really joking, i don’t think i’ve really been ok since about 1962, and more layers have been added since.

Aye, keeping the anxiety and sorrow at bay can be a burden this end. But I’m used to it.

I understand. According to shrink i go back further than that. It was 1958 when my sister would take the crying baby from the crying mother.

you can consider yourself a trigger. But then everything is.
Stood in my basement practising with my nunchucks infront of the mirror, abs like concrete.
Of course I’m ok

The conspiracy theorist and New Age philosopher, who wore only turquoise for a time and insisted on being called Son of God-Head, says these “Annunaki” (the reptiles) have controlled humankind since ancient times; they count among their number Queen Elizabeth, George W. Bush, Henry Kissinger, Bill and Hillary Clinton and Bob Hope. Encroaching on other conspiracy theorists’ territory, Icke even claims that the lizards are behind secret societies like the Freemasons and the Illuminati. Since earning the dubious title of “paranoid of the decade” in the late 1990s, Icke has written several books on the topic, including his latest work, The David Icke Guide to the Global Conspiracy, while operating his own website — complete with merchandise and advertisements.
