Subject: the joys of a superior immune system

a fortunate thing is an immune system, makes a significant contribution to homeostasis – maintaining the integrity of the organism – all stops when you die, maybe bacteria and whatever takeover when you desist, possibly why you might get refrigerated after you expire, you will get smelly

but staying with the living, it is the superior immune systems that are of interest to me here, how people with superior immune systems are such wonderful ambassadors for immunity, the good work of immune systems, drawing on experience of their superior immune system

some people go through their lives with not much complaints that might relate to immune function, and good for them, it largely goes about its business very effectively, and invisibly, like much of homeostasis does, quite automatically does what it does

of broader homeostasis there is of course additional stuff, like for instance more obvious thermoregulation, and the extended aspect of that is where the brain has ideas and does stuff to stay warm, like collect firewood and have a fire to warm a room, or way back in the day of your ancestors it may have been a cave

anyway back to the ambassadors of immunity, they may influence how you see it, which possibly has contradictions if they hardly notice it

yeah there are people out there that don’t much suffer any pathogens, if the immune system was in some way connected to the brain they’d need some exceedingly convincing data and science to acknowledge that

so, my philosophical proposition – question – is as follows

are those with superior immune systems the best ambassadors for the subject

It’s not clear to me why immune systems need ambassadors.

we meant our brainminds are just tools that the bodies are using to enhance transmission of DNA,

Pretty much isn’t it, everything else we do is just busy work
Could be why intelligence is rare, animals just go “Yeah, nah, prefer to eat, sleep and reproduce”

as I wrote it, italics now added for emphasis

“are those with superior immune systems the best ambassadors for the subject”

meaning individuals, people

the point is if you hardly sensed your immune system activity, it worked so well, then that’s possibly a profoundly different experience (of maybe everything) than say a mediocre immune system

OK, but it still isn’t clear to me why the subject of immune systems needs ambassaors.

well, to simplify, fit healthy people are ambassadors for health and fitness, maybe start there

Nope;
Animals, esp. BIRDS
SELECT a Mate based upon
it’s overall FITNESS displayed by it’s
plumage and ability to feed & share food
and the brains / ingenuity of successful nest building
which all goes back to overall health & fitness = IMMUNITY

I agree with Rev D. Immune systems don’t need ambassadors.

I will also make the claim that there aren’t any people with a superior immune system.

There are only people with a faulty immune system, and everyone else who has an immune system that varies with age.

Certainly there are people whose immune system has been bombarded with more stimulants. But that doesn’t make their immune system better, or worse than other people’s, just more used.

Now I don’t want be the first person to ask about those whom may have indeed been infected with a nontransmissabe tuberculosis

do I need ignore all the people that died of disease (infections) before successfully breeding, back through time, I might point out you’re not descended of any of them, so enjoy a sort of survivor bias on the subject

as things turned out you’re here on the living side of the selection that occurred

and moving on a bit

what function does experiencing (anything of, even proximately) immune system activity serve, sore throats, whatever, fatigue, tiredness, pain in locations of infection, that sort of thing
