a funny business it is, and who isn’t at the mercy of wetware that does it

there is of course your wetware, the bulb on your shoulders, the mass of neurons however arranged in the cranium, it’s dark in there would you believe, nothing like the illumination you’re experiencing looking at this screen

and there is or are other peoples’ wetware, which I meant to add onto the last paragraph but it was getting too long

but getting to it, to it proper now, optimized truth

imagine the good work of eight billion people optimizing truth, little rounding there I did, it’s not quite eight billion, make that about 7.98 billion, i’d have a look at a population clock but i’m guessing the trajectory would involve an increase, the numbers would be moving, births does that, even births minus deaths

anyway my question is for whoever to ask themselves, and report back, at your discretion of course, it involves a self-evaluation

do you optimize truth, or maximize it, or and how convinced are you they are fairly much the same thing, if that is the case

For some reason I had the words below going through my head this morning, which is sort of connected:

I have squandered my resistance
For a pocketful of mumbles
Such are promises

All lies and jest
Still, a man hears what he wants to hear
And disregards the rest

Lie-la-lie
Lie-la-lie-lie-lie-lie-lie
Lie-la-lie
Lie-la-lie-lie-lie-lie-lie, lie-lie-lie-lie-lie

One of my fave of their songs. Still one of my fave albums.

Optimise truth.

Bowdlerise truth

Politically correct the truth

Sensationalise the truth

Bend the truth

Hype the facts

Parrot everything you hear

Your choice

Those who don’t listen to the news are uninformed.
Those who do listen to the news are misinformed.

People don’t seem to have critical thinking or sound logic when thinking or saying things.
Can’t believe the nonsense that people believe.
Truth should probably be determined by outside observers with no vested interests based on recorded facts

Either you do the science or you don’t.

My favorite News Caster warned listeners years ago to
Rather than swallow things whole, take the time to
double check the sources and verify the facts
