No. I get a cold it’s much worse than this. Red raw throat, coughing fits, and eventually goes to chest as bronchitis. This was different. Hasn’t got past the runny nose stage. Lots of AAAAAAAA CHOOO ing.

Just because your symptoms are mild, it doesn’t mean that everyone’s symptoms are mild. Covid in Australia still has a higher mortality rate than flu. But our death rate has dropped off. Back about 2 months ago, Australia’s covid death rate per million people was the third worst in the world. Now we’re only about 30th in the world. :-)

PS. Number of new cases in China is increasing rapidly.

Friends we stayed with in Armidale three nights ago had COVID months back. Still very tired. Friends we had lunch with yesterday were quite ill. One still has a persistent cough since August.

Had a helluva lot worse, Mr V. Mostly sniffles, runny nose and dull headache. Some minor balance issues. more vertigo like, rather than dizziness. Seemed to aggravate the arthur itis a bit as well. As I said, it was just “different” from anything else before. That’s why I got tested.

It never went to my chest/bronchitis like a cold normally does with coughing fits for weeks after.

I’ll do another RAT test tomorrow.
