Let’s send money and weapons to another doomed conflict
The last 30 years of war weren’t “real” wars
I’m sure it will be fine

WWI was just a family spat which got out of hand.
If you see a vast army of armed goose stepping men in black uniforms covered in swatikas and SS insignia marching along your street – you are wrong
These are just some people out for a stroll and are just stretching their legs. What’s wrong with you people ?

Barely much to it in my opinion

That’s a good point. I’ll change that to 28 years.
The last “real” war was in Rwanda, 1994.
All those since then are just “special military operations”.

Something like 1 million people were macheted to death in two weeks.

Rwanda was really tribal conflict, Africa is a violent place.Something like 1 million people were macheted to death in two weeks.
War in African terms is to literally wipe out the other side – no survivors

Oh, yes, it is.
I sort of depended on that to make a living for a while.

I have, like, 100 questions.
I imagine the war in Ukraine will change weapons development in the decades to come as it shows us what works and doesn’t work and what is redundant.
Testing ground for weapons to see if they destroy what they were designed to do.

The new Vietnam.

Like Germany in the Spanish civil war.
