Can anybody recommend a good gardening diary or organiser?

I have used the Gardening Australia one for a couple of years, and I like it better than just any old diary, but it could be better.

The only contender I have come across so far is the Digger’s one: http://www.boomerangbooks.com.au/Diggers-Club-Garden-Diary-2011/Diggers-Club-The/book_9780646533087.htm – but the website doesn’t say much about it.

Just thought I’d see if you guys had found anything particularly handy over the years :)

I haven’t bought any gardening diarys, would love to one day though.

But I thought I might put in here that I’ve come across a simpler method for working out rotating vege beds. A pictorial.
Folder named by year, photos of the beds showing me what’s where that year, ect. Simple for busy heads..

Thanks BG, I’ll have a hunt for an Organic Gardener version.

HP, that’s a great idea, thanks :)

By the way – feel free to add any organisational tips in here, guys! I appreciate all advice in that area :D

I am actually slack and don’t have a diary as such. I’ve just been taking photos a few times a year and placing them in dated folders in my Garden folder in My Docos

That’s the conclusion I was coming to, too :)

I did find a permaculture diary. River Cottage has a diary too, which sounds great for UK people, but not so helpful here :)

Think I need to organise my own system. I was offered some file/binder thingies from work, which would’ve been great to use, but they’re for 3-hole-punched papers. Haven’t got a 3-hole punch! And too lazy to improvise with a 2 hole punch :)

this forum and p/bucket have replaced a garden diary i had.
you need one with graph paper incorporated so you can draw the beds, crop rotations and future plans to scale.

I suppose I may be that organised one day.. can’t quite imagine it yet though :D

To some extent my blog is removing some of the need – I can go back and check “when did I do such and such”, but not so great for forward planning.
