I am more thinking of it being validating for all the mask wearing, social distancing folks and those of us still taking as many precautions as possible for ourselves and the communities that we belong to.

There’s actually been a lot of discussion of this on Twitter, if Covid has some association of causing the host to spread it in a sense (like rats are attracted to the urine of cats as in toxoplasmosis). That when folks have had it, they then feel less scared about having it again and don’t care so much about giving it to other people, and in some cases want to infect others.
With asymptomatic infection it is going to be really hard to track that one down.
I have a doctor friend who basically lived in quarantine for a year and a half and after getting hasn’t masked as much again which everyone finds shocking as it was so out of character of their meticulous masking, use of protections and mitigations.
