When the sun hits those in the morning they radiate, I swear.

Photos can’t capture what the irises do for the soul, have 3 “vases” in total.

… and could murder more for my interior decorating binge, quite a few more out in Snail Heaven!

beautiful! I keep thinking I’ll go out and pick the grevilleas and callistemons and put some in a vase, but the birds like ‘em too much :( Or maybe some lavender (but then the bees like that)

Had to keep putting the phargling phone down and doing something else while I took lots of deep breaths.

Found the solution when I decided to read methodically through the online user guide from the start.

Mine is a rented garden and there are heaps of things flowering so I’m less caring and considerate than I would be if it was mine own!

I read that, very handy. My girls got my phone to have a look at what I’d put on it, telling me I probably don’t use it to it’s full potential.. then they set about putting the same to theirs lol!

Well I won’t be recommending irises as cut flowers. Four days later and apart from being the worse for wear, they developed a strong smell akin to bad/cheap soap that one used to encounter in public toilets. And if that doesn’t make you nostrils quiver with bad memories, you’re a whipper-snapper!

The red /pink flowers were only good for 2 days too.

On the bright side the roses along the side fence are starting to open. Hopefully they’ll last longer and have a better fragrance.

Dark now but when they’re looking lovely I’ll see what me an’ the camera in the phantasztic phone can do between us :)

The white shrub with the stunning perfume – boronia???

Well past its best now, no perfume that I can notice. Was stunning up until about 2 weeks ago.

And all thes photos taken an hour before dark on the phantasztic phone, picture quality may not be brilliant.

Snails on some strappy leaves in the rosemary bed at 6pm. Heaps more elsewhere. And whenever I go out crunching ‘em in my boots of a night you can guarantee there’ll be no remains the next day. Cannibals :(

Couldn’t figure out a decent iris shot, I’ve decided that as single flowers I’m not fond of them but a big vase full is lovely.
