It could be a lifesaver as well or an inducement to sharks hard to know. Might scare fish away though , if fishing and kayaking at the same time.

Like a glass bottom boat. Pay big money to go in one of those.

I even once made my own underwater viewer from a tin can and a dome of clear plastic. Great fun.

And help to stop you from running aground.
