A partially blind woman with cerebral palsy who told an elderly cyclist to stop riding on the pavement moments before she was fatally hit by a car was today jailed for three years.

Auriol Grey, 49, gestured towards grandmother Celia Ward, 77, and told her to ‘get off the f****** pavement’ in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, on October 20, 2020.

CCTV footage showed how shortly after Grey gestured at her, the retired midwife veered into the road before being struck by a car that was unable to stop. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
