OOPs – should have put the slide one last, if at all. The gramma are from seeds from Longy – thank you! Other ducks in garden pic is just a scene I enjoyed while having a cuppa yesterday…oh and displaying some BYP bumper stickers :)

That middle photo of all those ducks reminds me of my place before we raided it late afternoon.

Yes, I was thinking along those lines when I commented in your http://tokyo3.org/forums/gardening/posts/8119/ :)
Adding another pic – I think Bubba will ID it in an a blink :D but didn’t get the spelling right when I tried to check if it was the same type she showed us a little while ago. Put on Scribbly and an enquiry to QLD Museum

It certainly looks like mine. Verreaux’s Skink.

Nice looking ducks. I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for ducks.
I’ve got a lot of them too. Pacific ducks and wood ducks but they won’t let me get to close.

It looks like an (almost) legless lizard. Actually looks too much like a snake in that pic.
Thanks, Bubba! I knew that I could count on you – just looking at your previpous post in Scribbly, top of the Yahoo Australia search results for “Verreaux’s skink” – how’s that! :D, now I have the name from you!

I will have a squizz at your pics and in the museum book too – later. I have an idea that you posted about it in this garden forum as well but haven’t searched. I think one of our party at Easter probably found one describing it as a giant worm and I think she killed it sorry to say – why I cannot understand! Apparently before I arrived.
cool duckies :)
still nice with spring onion pancakes and hoisin sauce :)
ok..here’s my first pic posting, taken at start of april

Very nice Aquarium, green and healthy :)
they’re grown in leaps and bounds since then.
btw i’m loving the selective focus (large aperture) that a dsl affords…so you don’t get distracting content in background.
Fantastic camera work, Aquarium, that top pic looks like it belongs in a magazine!
I’ve just dropped in for a sec. I will be AWOL for a few days. Off to do some Mother and Daughter bonding. She thinks I’m coming for a visit because she needs me but in truth it’s me who needs her as well.
Her baby boy is teething and is causing all sorts of upsets. Do you Mums remember what that was like? I do and that’s why I am offering my services. I only wish someone had been there to help me out at that time.
Anyway, take care all of you. Back later next week.
pomolo…..in case you don’t know this tidbit…there’s teething gell available…helps to soothe the gums.

Thanks Aquarium. Daughter has tried everything including Panadol, Gel etc but nature will take it’s course anyway. It’s mainly that she isn’t coping, not so much that grandson is teething, I think.
