It is all BS about that being aimed at assassinating Putin.

The explosion was like using a pea shooter at a tank.

That’s what i was thinking. It’d be an awful lot of effort to go to, just to deliver what seems to have been little more than a flash-bang hand grenade. If it’d been daytime, it probably wouldn’t have shown up on the video.

I could make bigger ka-booms than that with a few bottles and tins of stuff from the laundry and the shed.

Yeah.
I wonder about who did it but the Ukranians would not have wasted such an opportunity on a flash-bang. Unless of course they were thumbing their nose at Putin saying, go on threaten us with nukes again. We are smarter than you. But why would they need to if that was the case? Just use the thing and blow him away, sounds like the smartest move. The world could then move on from Putin’s horrific fantasy.

I assume it’s a crappily executed Russian attempt to “unnerve” Ukraine’s allies by claiming that Ukraine is now personally attacking the Kremlin and can no longer be trusted to just try to clear the vermin from Ukrainian soil.

It could be just a budget stunt.

When your ‘security’ department’s budget is under threat, you engineer some stunt to show that ‘the danger is real’ and that you department is needed now, more than ever.

Doesn’t have to be much, just something you can use to get the attention of higher-ups.

One of the more credible hypotheses for the Hilton Hotel bomb in the 1970s was that it was a budget stunt. The bomb was never meant to go off, but was meant to be ‘discovered’ by some diligent security operative the next day, ensuring that the relevant organisation was seen to be still relevant.

Of course, they f*** up, didn’t dot all the i’s and cross all the t’s, and when the bomb went into the compactor, well…

There have been other crash-landed Ukrainian drones found in the Moscow region. The Ukrainians seem to be testing drones reaching the Moscow area.

I’m back for a bit.

They did take a shot at him.

As soon as they launched their attack on Ukraine, the Russians had a special forces team in the air and on the way to Kyiv to carry out a ‘decapitation’ programme. To kidnap or kill Zelenskyy, his ministers (those who weren’t Russian moles) and senior department heads.

Unfortunately for them , they got shot down over Kyiv, and all died. It was in the news reports, you can track back and find it.

One of these days, someone with more knowledge than I have, needs to make a map showing countries in which the USA has carried out assassinations or attempted assassinations.

I mean: Cuba, Libya, Nicaragua, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, North Vietnam, Cambodia, Somalia etc. Did i hear about one in Sweden, or Egypt? Mexico, China, Japan. And the USA of course.

The list of countries in which the USA has not carried out an attempted assassination might be shorter.

Attempted covert assassinations, while not nice per se, are at least an improvement on arrest -> show trial -> execution or imprisonment – that the European colonial powers used to do. Or the mass shootings of unarmed civilians protesting against imperial rule.

You’ll find the real news , out there.

The russians are busy blowing up ammo dumps

The RuAF has become busier of late dropping massive glide bombs. There’s heaps of footage of lancet drones knocking western tanks, self propelled artillery and s300 systems.

The winter offensive of russia never took hold, the ground never froze solid ( though there was heavy snow 3 weeks ago).

The ukos lose about 1000 men a day.

There’s another news report that one of the drones is claimed to have been packed with 17kg of C4 plastic explosive. there’s a photo of a M-112 charge block with it.

C4 is definitely high explosive, and 17 kg of the stuff is more than enough to do the job.

If the attack was genuine, and it really had been carrying the C4, and it had got through, it could have done some real damage.

The best video example i can quickly find is this one, with 15lb/7kg of C4

https://www.military.com/video/ammunition-and-explosives/explosives/15lbs-of-c4-on-a-bus/763995614001

So, double that, and bit more.

But, that explosion over the Kremlin was nothing like you’d see from 17kg of C4. So, why pack one drone with all the big stuff, and arm the other one with a firecracker? Unless you were someone wh wanted the firecracker to ‘get through’, and the big boy to just lay there and get photographed.

check out the footage of KORNET striking the S300 / self propelled artillery/ tanks there’s lots of it. normally you’ll get footage of the KORNET seeking its target and it cuts out just before it hits, theres nomally another drone above that films the strike.
