Neither do I and the first time I gave mrs rb a mothers day present, she said “I’m not your mother”.

I gave my Mum a beautiful funeral.
Did that too.

I didn’t. Here’s wishing a happy day to all mothers.

That’s in England. Thought you were in New Mexico. ;)
Anyway, hoping you have a happy day.

Oh, I just thought of women in this forum who are mothers, then removed my name. Women who appear regularly.

I predict that sometime today I will see a photo published in social media of my Sarah at lunch with all the women of tim’s family. and then about 6 tonight I will get a message saying that she hopes I had a nice mother’s day.

Lucky you! I predict I’ll get nothing from my sons.

Happy Mother’s Day!
Thankyou to Ros Meeker Alison Leake and Sally Sally-Scott James and all the other Mum like people in my life.
I’m so lucky to be mum to these two idiots! And I couldn’t do it without the help from the family.

I think I will just ignore that.
I’d like to have a day celebrating people who survive having shitty parents.
My sister & I are so fucking angry with our mum today. I can’t put into words how much of a not-nice person she is.
Today can go eat a bag of dicks.
Hello and happy mothers day!

Mother’s day today in the US. As predicted I received no communication from either of my sons.
I read a little thing about cats as I sat on the bed, sipping a mug of tea in the morning sunshine with Sally Cat. We laughed and she agreed to not show me her börthöle today.

I’m not counting my communication as communication.
I received a lovely Mother’s Day present and I’m not even a Mother.
Mum decided to dump all her jewellery into my possession. I threw out the broken stuff and shoved the rest at the back of a cupboard until I decide what to do with it. I don’t want any of it.

Maybe Mini Me would like it for dressing up.

Cash in anything that is gold or silver like. If any of the stones are natural, worth saving those to sell as well. However, you may get outlandish prices for all of it at certain markets?

Costume jewellery is worth nil to most of us but to some they are desirable possessions.

Mr Arts’ dad wants to get all the female grandchildren up to the ‘farm’ to hand out all of Nanna’s jewellery
Nanna’s had terrible taste in jewellery – ok that’s unfair. I think Nanna had terrible taste in jewellery all clunky and that horrible yellow gold… but I think it might be worth something at least. so the girls have that going for them..
also I don’t know why it should be confined to just he girls – he should equally divvy it out amongst all the grandchildren… but he’s an old man with old white man attitudes…

Put it on Antiques Roadshow.

I recall that the ABC had a somewhat similar show named ‘for Love Or Money’.
As most of the people who presented items to be assessed were primarily interested in what they might flog them for, the cast and crew referred to the show as ‘For Love Of Money’.

You are so incredibly insensitive to sarahs mum and me with our situations regarding our children.

that doesn’t matter.. the point is not who might wear it but who might benefit from it… besides, the boys could get girlfriends/wives who might also enjoy it..

LOL true.
It’s thought Walt chose particular tropes and storylines due to his own trauma involving his mother.
Modern Disney films address generational trauma where the villain isn’t a person per se, but the wounds of ancestors.

Edwin Catmull just liked DTAs.
