Is it true that gravity is believed to be able to travel through time?

Nothing to do with gravity but,

I’ve often wondered why the god-fearing Merkins are so happy to accept the words of the song “It Ain’t Necessarily So”, so I did a quick Binge and found:

It Ain’t Necessarily So — the Gershwins at the top of their game

which really doesn’t answer the question, bus does have a lot of interesting background info.

According to general relativity, gravity travels at the speed of light, so does not travel in time.

As a check on that, gravity waves confirm it.

However, if you want to discard general relativity, then all bets are off.

GR = gravity travels at light speed is what I thought.

Was just wondering if there was any theoretical basis for speed of gravity > c.
