I am just dying waiting for the discovery of Aboriginal artefacts under Bass Strait.
Aboriginal artefacts ought to exist at depths all around Australia to a depth of 40 metres.
Given that sea level rose about that much since the end of the last ice age.

“In 2019, scientists from Flinders University discovered hundreds of ancient stone tools and grinding stones at the underwater site of Cape Bruguieres, off the Pilbara coast. A second underwater site was also discovered at the nearby Flying Foam Passage, (with five artefacts) found at the 8,500-year-old fresh spring.”
