Subject: Turtle and beer six pack

On seeing the following cartoon, it suddenly occurred to me that the original famous video on which it is based, the video that kicked off the ocean-plastic fanaticism, was put together by an ad agency. Ad agencies are not known for their scientific accuracy.

I now think the original video is a fake, someone at the ad agency rammed the beer six pack over the head of a turtle, released it into the ocean and filmed the result. Even more fake than the Disney lemmings.

It took me many decades of accepting the video as true.
What do you think?

I may misunderconstumble a bit at times but do you mean that the video is either a fake or for something that even God would not put his name to is .. = real?

Didn’t you say you thought you were getting dementia?

There are more than one example of many marine animals getting entangled in the plastic rings of those irresponsible six pack makers.

The design whilst not to entangle animals originally certainly works that way
Shouldn’t be too hard for them to have perforated rings that break when you pull out the bottle/can

They could go right away from it altogether. In fact I had thought they had done but I don’t buy cans in six packs.

The turtle with the straw in a nostril wasn’t dreamed up by marketing.

Can’t drink beer out of cans. My neck can’t work like that.
