Subject: WA Logging permits

Almost all small mum&dad sawmills in WA have been closed down because of the “Old Growth” laws that have stopped the supply of Jarrah logs.

Meanwhile, ALCOA are still laying waste to huge chunks of the jarrah forest to mine bauxite. Just have a look at Google maps just east of Perth. Their mine is bigger than the Perth suburban area.

Now, it seems that someone is going to maybe check out how much devastation they have wrought since the last time someone had a look(1961).

But ALCOA are distraught because they might lose some of their gigantic profit margin.

Fuck ‘em, and the horse they rode in on.

Logging equals carbon sequestration.

That’s pretty obviously not true.
