I hope you can read the above. There is a fascinating and well thought out survey from Curtin University. I really enjoyed doing this survey.

Here’s another link. Sorry if neither of these work. Looks to be the same link.

I note that the Curtin University Human Research Ethics Committee has not approved this project.

Surely that would be critical to the process

As part of a PhD, you’d have thought so.

Perhaps that is why its on reddit.
I’ve done a couple of surveys for WA universities and they have linked to the official website with disclosure it’s been approved

I don’t want to prejudice anyone against completing the survey, so to clarify the links lead to a survey being done by an undergraduate at Charles Sturt University. CSU Human Ethics Committee has approved the project.

You’ll get some bare bones if you want to start talking about critical thinking.

I hope they have snowball sampling in their methodology.

Just did it.

Took me more like 45 mins than 30.

No snowballs that I noticed, but I have no idea what “snowball sampling” means in this context.

Not very impressed with the video, very either-orist, and not sure what the point of the cartoon sketches was.

Nonetheless, it would be interesting to see what conclusions they draw from it all.

Snowball recruitment is what I should have said… it’s when you put the survey out there and you rely on friends asking friends to complete it, and so on ans so forth. It should form part of the methodology

I did not do the survey because I was not happy with the introductory information. But in the name of research advancement I hope they find some useful results.

Seemed OK to me, but then I didn’t apply any critical thinking to it. What weren’t you happy with?
