The race to explore and develop the moon’s resources has begun and Russia must remain a player despite the failure of its first lunar mission in 47 years, according to the head of Russia’s space agency following landing failure. “This is not just about the prestige of the country and the achievement of some geopolitical goals. This is about ensuring defensive capabilities and achieving technological sovereignty,” he said in his first public comments after the aborted mission. “Today it is also of a practical value because, of course, the race for the development of the natural resources of the moon has begun. And in the future, the moon will become a platform for deep space exploration, an ideal platform.”
Russia has said it will launch further lunar missions and then explore the possibility of a joint Russian-China crewed mission and even a lunar base.

When it comes to Russian projects, you can never under-estimate the effects of corruption, corner-cutting, budget reductions, schedule-pressure, political interference, and sheer, unadulterated shoulder-shrugging don’t-give-a-shitness.

At any rate the russians are still moving westwards – yes really. Latest uko casualties 400 – 500,000 dead more wounded. Many / all the Leopard tanks are destroyed. Go out on the internet and you’ll see footage of armoured columns being destroyed

No-one ever claimed that they were indestructible.
No army ever finished a war with all of the equipment that it was issued.
They’re much better tanks than Russian tanks, much less vulnerable, and harder to destroy, but, yes, they can be destroyed.
They’re also crewed by people who actually believe in what they’re there for, and not motivated by ideas of conquest and loot.

Odd that Sputnik, a Russian state-owned news agency and radio broadcast service, is describing it as ‘murder’.
Given that the man was fighting on the side of Ukraine, against Russian forces, it seems rather obvious as to who might be motivated to murder him, with the very much longer odds being on the Ukrainians.

Potential outcomes: – once things get going you might well have a few thousand north Korean artillery pieces firing 60,000 a day on top of the Russian artillery. ? Far horizon – china sends 500,000 troops on rotation with their industry ramping up – defeat NATO in Europe to keep China safe at home. A Chinese back war in ukraine would keep the chinese economy going. Imagine 10,000 drone strikes a day.
Romania has back tracked and demands Russia get out of ukraine because of evidence of Russian missile fragments in romania. The ukos could launch a false flag and get NATO involved. NATO is having a massive military exercise in the east.
