Everyone hates Collingwood but they’re one of Australia’s most popular teams:

The Collingwood Football Club, nicknamed the Magpies or colloquially the Pies, is a professional Australian rules football club based in Melbourne, Victoria that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport’s elite competition. I couldn’t imagine seeing 70 year old musicians on TV in full face paint and costume prancing around like that, when I was a lad of 10. I wonder what the 10 year olds of today make of it.

Yours is the first post I clicked on. It’s worse when you recognize the names of the old codgers dying off because they were playing in my childhood, and living in Melbourne, I heard some names even if I didn’t go to footy matches except the Scoresby ones sometimes with my grandparents.
