Latest news is that the rocket fuel tanks disappeared in Rome from a warehouse and ended up on landfill.

The best they can guess is that in splitting off a second company requiring moving equipment, they lost track of it because it was missing from the inventory. Foul play is not suspected. Just gross incompetence.

I know it’s the European Space Agency, but, surely, there would have been some way to ensure that the Italians weren’t put in a position of responsibility for anything important/expensive?
