I’m thinking of just buying a 100 series of something like that.

Tried via email once before was trying to get a stubbie holder and cap.

It’s one of them zero turn mowers John Deere Z445 Eztrak, Dad wants a Mulcher deck 48inch I think we are getting.

nice. they are very stable + comfortable those ones. has it got a catcher? as in can you pick up the mulch as it goes along?

new topic is warranted since several are interested i think.

Thanks for putting it in its own topic, Nope the Mulch goes straight back into the Grass/lawn, Keeps it going as we don’t water the lawn, Only around fruit trees and gardens.
Only Problems with these type of mowers you have to watch out how far the deck is forward as it gets bogged easy.
Skidsteer controls – keeps me happy.
only problem with some of them on the market is you have to watch where the deck lift is, Some are foot control or hand control.

Think it as Dinetta that go a new mower a few months back, this type of Model they where.

Both grand parents have a John Deere Ride on mower (tractor style), still going strong.

Because our finances wouldn’t stretch to John Deere or any of the really good ride-on mowers we ended up with and MTD (not sure of the model, will try to dig out the brochure later). MrS has only used it a couple of times, but he seems happy enough with it. Like anything, you get what you pay for so it will be interesting to see how well it lasts.

zero turn mowers are good, but in my caper where I try to maintain a high quality of turf (at home and at work) I find the fact that one wheel can move in the opposite direction to the other, can cause tearing and rutting of your turf surface, especially on wet ground. I prefer the more traditional steering for this reason.

Only problem where we would have that is out the back, But we don’t mow around the back of the house while wet.
