We are a few days away from the commencement of the Republican primaries. The Iowa Republican Caucus takes place next week and the New Hampshire primary the week after that.

Chris Christie has dropped out and it is likely that a lot of his support will flow to Nikki Haley.

Haley could conceivably pip Trump in New Hampshire if she does in fact vacuum up most of the Christie vote.

She has no chance in Iowa.

I’m old enough to remember in 2022 people were thinking the US was going to have a recession but instead it dinged along at 5.2% growth last quarter, growing faster than China.
