That’s what I suspected.
There were no ancient Europeans in Norway and Sweden.
Because it was too cold for them.

OK, I’m joking – or am I?

Archaeological finds indicate human occupation in southern Norway and Sweden at around 11,000 -12,000 years ago.

It was still extremely cold at that time.

Today, the highest incidences of this incurable neurodegenerative disease are in northern Europe. There is a clear north-south gradient. Now, the genetic information from the Mesolithic onward, compared with information on 410,000 white Europeans, may have solved the enigma of why that is, Barrie and the team posit. Their results indicate that the genetic risk for multiple sclerosis emerged among the Yamnaya.

I have been feeling sad about being a chronic smoker in case that is why Sarah has MS. No one in my family has ever had it before. But both her parents share northern European. I would expect Sarah’s DNA to say a lot of Scot and French with some English, Irish, German, Scandinavian, and just a little north American Indian and a chance of a little African. I could see a bit of Negro features in Scott’s born in Kentucky father.

Yes. She has had the treatment that sometimes makes people sick…but she got through it well. She is now on a self-inject once a month.

Tasmania is an MS hot spot. some conjecture about it being vit D related. but so is Townsville. So I am not sure about that logic.
