had my family visiting this past week which was great as we do not get to be all together that often.
Picnicing and canoeing at Lake Nillahcootie.

Visiting Mt Buller. Drove up to the Village. Mum and I walked up almost to the summit from the top carpark while my sisters and niece did the longer nature walk and went right up to the top. Passed many road cyclists going up and mountain bike riders going down. They have a ski lift operating for those dare devils who like to ride their bikes down the steep rocky ski slopes.

my brother-in-law made many unsuccessful attempts to catch a fish, and we ate a lot, and a good time was had by all.
gorgeous photos BG, love the Alpine country. Never ridden my bike up Buller, always chose Buffalo and Hotham before yours. Thanks.
Lovely photos:)

I’m a long time away from climbing mountains again…
The weather has a lot to answer for – woulda bin lovely to do something similar instead of hiding from the heat.
great tour thanks BG.
those mountains are fairly bare but the slopes and rocks – and occasional flower give it its character.
