So far it is not much different from last year, though I hope the resemblence fades quickly.
If we realise that we have just ended a decade which was not one of the nicest pages in the history book then anything better would be just hunky dory.

Here I am. Happy New Year to you all. A belated Christmas wish as well. I missed saying it before we went on hols.

Came home to a saturated garden. 5 inches in the guage. Haven’t inspected everywhere yet but the grass has grown many inches and some of the plants are yellowing because things are just too wet.

I have tried to catch up on most stuff you talked about. Glad to hear Dinetta is safe and dry. I was thinking about her most of the time because her area was being reported in the news every day. Congrats to our 2011 Nanna to be. Saw your Chrissy pics BG. Love your smiling tomato RB. Thinking about toad eating ducks longevity.

Anyway, all’s well and the sun is peeping through ATM. I’m in recovery from an overload of grandchildren but I enjoy being a mamah. (That’s baby talk for grandma.)

I will be around from time to time.

she was okay yesterday and she mentioned that her house is fairly well protected from the flood-zone, so she should be okay. They have cut quite a bit of power to parts of the region so hopefully she is protected from that too!
